Full experience details

Enjoy an incredible evening of bespoke wine tasting where you’ll enjoy a specially selected set of 3 wines.

After all, in the words of your sommelier for the evening, “wine is made to be enjoyed. Tasting it should be fun, and informative.”

You can choose between a selection of tastings which are there to take you on a little journey; to give you an idea of where the wine is made, who has made it, and how it should be enjoyed. For each tasting experience you’ll receive a set of 3 to 5 specially chosen bottles of wine, and you’ll be taken through each one by your wine geek and qualified sommelier Tim, formerly of the PIG Group of Hotels.

And if you’re really looking for a treat you can include a selection of artisan cheeses (sourced from the famous La Fromargerie in London). You’ll receive three cheeses matched with your three wines, and be taken through them by cheese expert Amanda, formerly of Vivat Bacchus.

–> Your host will start by going into the backgrounds of your chosen wines, giving you a fascinating insight into their history and production

–> You’ll be taken through each wine with plenty of time to chat through how you all found the wines and ask any ‘winey’ questions you have

–> These can be accompanied by different cheeses with your sommelier explaining how pairing works before opening up the discussion to how you find these

–> An option to include a blind wine tasting segment where as a group or in smaller breakout rooms, you can discuss and decipher which wines you have, comparing to the tasting notes before coming back together with your answers

–> The wonderful Wine Tramp will quiz you on your new found knowledge with some prizes up for grabs!

–>Continue to enjoy your wines and cheeses and have a chat with your host before they finish. You are more than welcome to continue on your socialising after the event
